This is a really lightweight, no nonsense, hardtail, designed to be ridden all day over varying terrain.

The XC130 geometry has been re-designed to accomodate the latest crop of modern, adjustable 100-130mm suspension forks.
 
It delivers the same quick handling, singletrack-hungry, riding style as the Maxlight XC3, but with the added dimension that a longer travel fork can give.
 
For 2011 Kinesis have used new deep section, ‘Hydroformed’ chainstays and revised the main frame tubing wall thicknesses, the end result is a tougher more responsive frame that retains it’s lively, lightweight ride charecteristics.
 
Seat tube bottle bosses are removed so the saddle can be slammed.
 
There are 3 totally new, 2011 colourways. Green NV, Supergloss Black and Slick Blue

This frame is packed with features: Hydroformed Kinesium top tube with cable stops and hose clips neatly tucked out of the way underneath, Kinesium down tube with ‘3D’ down tube gussett , Kinesium seat tube with forward facing slot, comfortable hourglass ‘Kinesis Superlight’ stays with neat hose clips, NEW Hydroformed Chain stays with forged dropouts, ZeroStack head tube. The XC130 is light too! 42cm frame - 1520g.
