Terms and Conditions
The Big Adventure Store Ltd complies with UK consumer law, including Distance Selling Regulations (DSR's) which means you're safe shopping with us.
We are happy to refund or exchange items damaged in transit, that are faulty or ordered incorrectly. If you find you have ordered the wrong size we will be happy to exchange (subject to postage costs).
Please check sizes carefully when ordering, if in doubt please contact us.
We pride ourselves on providing the very best customer care and aftersales service. Our terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Please note all returns must be accompanied by a completed Returns Claims Form.
Non-Warranty Returns
Goods must be returned within 5 working days of receipt to receive a refund excluding postage & packaging costs.
Goods must be in the original packaging with all labels attached.
Goods must be complete even if broken.
Goods must not have been used.
All returned goods must be accompanied by a completed Returns Claims Form.
All returns must be sent by Recorded Delivery.
All bike returns will be subject to a re-stocking fee of £75, so please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
If we have sent the wrong products then you will not be liable for any postage costs.
Please take care when packing your goods, we cannot take responsibility for any damage that occurs in transit.

Warranty
All products purchased from The Big Adventure Store Ltd are fully covered by manufacturer's warranty. With any bike purchase it is important that the customer understands the particular warranty and terms and conditions of the manufacturer.
If a fault develops, you must stop using the product immediately and contact us to find out how to return the item. All items must be accompanied with a completed Returns Claims Form. We will inform you within five working days if we need to return the product to the manufacturer, or if it is not a warranty issue. If the product is not deemed a warranty issue, you will be liable for the postage costs to return the item to you.
Refunds
We will refund your credit/debit card within 7 days of receiving the product and accompanying Returns Claims Form. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to be processed. Please note that refunds will not include postage costs unless it was a result of our error.
At The Big Adventure Store, we will do our upmost to give you a product of comparable quality and price when exchanging goods that are incorrectly ordered as we want our customers to be satisfied.
Postage Refund
We only refund postage on goods deemed to be a warranty issue by the manufacturer or if we send the wrong item. If you change your mind about a product after receiving it, we will be happy to exchange the items but you will be liable for all postage costs.
Delivery
When in stock, all orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours and are sent by First Class post or by courier. Postage costs £5.00 for all items except for sleeping bags and wetsuits which are sent by special delivery at £10. For bikes and for orders outside of the UK please contact us for a quote.
If an item is out of stock it can take 5-10 working days before dispatch. Items being shipped to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and Scottish Highlands will be subject to a £24 shipping fee, please call us for with your postcode if you are unsure.
Part Shiping Orders
The Big Adventure Store may part-ship orders at no additional postage cost to the customer in the unexpected event that goods are still not available in stock after a reasonable amount of time.
Product Prices
The Big Adventure Store prices include VAT at the standard UK rate of 17.5% on all goods irrespective of whether they are shipped outside the EU. If you have purchased our products from outside the UK and wish to claim back that portion of the purchase from HMRC, then please download form VAT65A from the HMRC website and follow the instructions contained therein.

We do our best to ensure product prices on our web site are up to date and correct but errors occur occasionally. Please email us if you think there is a problem.

The Big Adventure Store Ltd accepts most major credit cards for online orders and uses HSBC secure ePayemnts to ensure your transaction is handled securely. Please do not send cash or cheques. All transactions are carried out in UK Pounds Sterling due to varying exchange rates.

The Big Adventure Store will not give your details to any third parties or organizations. To process your order and update you with delivery status we need to have your name, email address, phone number (to help courier deliver your goods), credit card billing address and delivery address and any other relevant details. From time to time, we may send you emails to let you know about special offers within the store and online. If you do not wish to receive these emails please contact us.

Because the product information we use comes only from our suppliers, we cannot be held responsible for website errors.
